A three-judge panel in New Oreans' 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled Texas' current immigration enforcement laws are constitutional. Texas is the first state where these immigration laws will be implemented. Texas Republican leaders have not identified any sanctuary cities in the state. So-called sanctuary cities often do not use municipal funds or resources to enforce federal immigration laws. (more...)

Soon after the Lok Sabha met on Tuesday morning, members belonging to several parties trooped into the well of the House, raising slogans and displaying placards. They were holding placards which read "Follow Alliance Dharma". "If this is the way MPs are behaving, I will adjourn the House". If Murphy's sales tax increase goes through, that would be 32 percent. New Jersey is rated 'A-' with a stable outlook by S&P Global Ratings, the second lowest score of all USA states, behind only IL. Roughly two-thirds of the 35 economists polled by Bloomberg expect the tariffs that Trump signed last week would cause a small decrease in jobs and a small drop in USA economic growth, which is enjoying its third-longest expansion on record. Anderson, a senior majoring in nursing from Westbury, New York, was found dead at 12:53 p.m. on Friday after police responded to a welfare check at 23 Oak St., a student residence on Binghamton's West Side. Police suggested in an earlier statement that Tercero and Anderson may have been romantically linked.
