Mourners at the funeral for the Jordanian teen shot and killed after stabbing an Israeli Embassy guard in Amman chanted "death to Israel" and vowed to be "martyrs" in Jerusalem. A Jordanian inquiry had confirmed the sequence of events. An Israeli judicial source, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said state prosecutors were giving "preliminary consideration" to an investigation , noting, "Theoretically, any outcome is certainly possible". And when DeYoung lost seven fellow soldier friends in the line of duty over a span of weeks, Cena was there to provide comfort. DeYoung carried Cena aboard the USS LST 393 where he was euthanized, and Taps was played in his honor.
