A bystander captured the shooting on video. Huntington Beach police told KTLA that the shooting occurred after an "altercation" with the man, who later died at a local hospital. In the video, six shots are fired and then someone yells something that sounds like "Get down, get down". Eight rounds can be heard as the man stumbles backward and then collapses against a wall. IL passed a gossip law in 2008 custom-made to Drew Peterson's case, named "Drew's Law", which helped with making a portion of the proof acceptable.
