Catalan pro-freedom leaders and supporters of the region's right to hold a referendum on independence from Spain have held a rally backing more than 700 mayors facing the threat of arrest, the BBC reported today. The Rehabilitation Center of Hollywood Hills is pushing back against charges it let patients die. Three of the victims were found dead at the facility, and the others died on the way to hospital. Broward County Mayor, Barbara Sharief informed that three people had already died inside the nursing home and the rest five died in hospital's emergency room. (more...)
