Facebook's self-serve ad technology could until recently be used to easily target anti-Semites, a report from Pro Publica indicated on Thursday. Once ProPublica informed Facebook of these categories, it took them down. Facebook's advertising and "boosting" tool approved posts for audiences that included "Jew Hater" and "why Jews ruin the world". Three patients were found dead in the facility on Wednesday morning and three others have since died in the hospital. Katz said hospital staff went room to room in the facility, locating patients and evacuating the building. Officials said it had electricity, but the air conditioning wasn't working. At 4 a.m., firefighters were sent back to the facility to transport a patient reportedly experiencing breathing problems, police said. (more...)
