The Minnesota unemployment rate climbed 0.1 percent in August to a seasonally adjusted 3.8 percent, according to figures released today by the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED). During August, more than 5,000 jobs were added in retail trade, construction and transportation, warehousing and utilities. Construction was second, with 7,247 jobs added. (more...)
