As Katia stewed in the Gulf of Mexico Wednesday, Hurricane Irma hit a multitude of Caribbean islands with winds of up to 185 miles per hour on its way toward the United States. Authorities in East Chicago, Indiana say two pipe bombs have been found at a post office following a possible explosion. K-9 units from the Lake County Sheriff's Department were at the scene investigating the incident. Two employees were in the building at the time of the explosion. Representatives for the agencies did not immediately respond to requests for information and messages left with the East Chicago police and fire departments had not been returned Wednesday night.
