Pacific territory of Guam . South Korea's defence ministry said "unidentified projectiles", fired at 6:49 am (2149 GMT Friday), flew some 250 kilometres towards the Sea of Japan. The Mirror reports that soldiers from the United Kingdom and Australia are helping 70,000 American and South Korean troops prepare for a potential nuclear attack from North Korea , which is something that the Korean Central News Agency denounced. North Korea has threatened Britain and Australia with "a miserable end" in case they take part in annual joint US-South Korea military drills now underway in the region amid tensions over Pyongyang's latest testing of ballistic missiles. Korean Minister of Foreign Affairs Kang Kyung-wha called for a bolstering of bilateral cooperation based on the consensus reached by Moon and Xi during their summit in July, and to continue to work toward fundamentally resolving the North Korea nuclear issue. An urban search and rescue force of 45 firefighters and support crew from San Diego County headed toward Hurricane Harvey in Texas late Saturday night. As a result, Regional Disaster Officer Robin Friedman expects to send at least two dozen more volunteers to Texas. "Right now the best thing people can do is donate money", said Katrina Farmer, director of American Red Cross offices in San Angelo, Abilene and Wichita Falls, Texas cities far from the coastline. The country has fired 18 missiles during 12 tests since February, further perfecting its technology with each launch.
