BC Premier John Horgan announced the elimination of the tolls on the two bridges, effective September 1, Friday from a pier at Citadel Landing with a view down the Fraser River to the Port Mann. The U.S. Navy will relieve Seventh Fleet Commander Vice Admiral Joseph Aucoin after a series of collisions involving its warships in Asia, a U.S. official told Reuters, as the search goes on for 10 sailors missing since the latest mishap. Former 7th Fleet commander Doug Crowder told AP he can not recall someone at that level being relieved for operational reasons.
