Launching at 1:18 a.m. ET, the flight carried communications satellite Merah Putih, which is named for the red and white colors of the Indonesian flag. Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle MK-III (GSLV MK-III), also called the 'The Bahubali' , is India's heaviest rocket that weighs nearly 640 tons and will be used to hoist the Chandrayaan-2 satellite from Sriharikota. The mission was to send a lander to one of the moons of Mars and bring back samples. The technology for developing the lander for the Fobos Grunt was the same as that for Chandrayaan 2 . (more...)

The Middlesex London Health Unit also issued a heat alert of its own that will come into effect on Sunday. Never leave people or pets inside a parked vehicle. Brown dwarf masses are notoriously hard to measure, and at the time, the object was thought to be an old and much more massive brown dwarf.
