On August 2, the team will command the spacecraft to awaken from its no-fuel-use state and maneuver the spacecraft to the correct orientation and downlink the data. Tropical Storm Chris is expected to strengthen and remain off the Carolinas' coast Sunday as Beryl weakened to remnants of a storm, according to the National Hurricane Center .
