Walgreens also plans to educate patients on Narcan use if they are dispensed a certain amount of a controlled substance. Walgreens announced Tuesday that all their pharmacies nationwide carry Narcan, one of the name brands for naloxone. (more...)

Last year, there were 160 confirmed cases of influenza in the region with 45 hospitalizations and six deaths related to the virus.
