When the dog began biting her, she paid no notice. The puppy bit her and her friends as they were playing with it. Eventually, she was being admitted full time. There is a vaccine for rabies, but in order to be effective, it must be given before symptoms appear. An unvaccinated teen who was banned from school during a chickenpox outbreak now has chickenpox himself, his lawyer says. Mr Kunkel could return to school as early as next week once his chickenpox clears. About 90 percent of students at the Catholic school have religious exemptions from vaccinations, according to WXIX. I never received the measles vaccine as a child. According to the CDC , adults who have documentation of receiving live measles vaccine in the 1960s do not need to be revaccinated. "Vaccination is our most powerful tool to control the spread of imported measles". Getting vaccinated not only protects you, it protects others around you who are too young to get the vaccine or can't receive it for medical reasons. (more...)
