Raul Reyes , 26, sought treatment at a clinic for what he thought was a blister on the foot after an injury at work, but instead was diagnosed with the flesh-eating bacteria, the Houston Chronicle reported. "They said that there was a chance that they may have to amputate, but they were going to try their hardest not to". The first shook at about 5:17 p.m. on Sunday. Moderate damage is reported after two 4.2 magnitude earthquakes struck in northern Oklahoma. If you felt it, you can report it by clicking here. Computer models from the USGS estimated that as many as 5.2 million people across the region may have felt the quake, including some 17,000 people who could have experienced moderate shaking. Yonkers police say there is a second coyote still on the loose, and it is also believed to be rabid. NBC News says a total of six people were attacked last week. An officer was bitten while searching for the animals. Anyone who sees the animal is instructed to call 911. Any coyote that doesn't flee from people or acts aggressively is considered risky, according to Yonkers police. (more...)

Flu is a contagious respiratory illness, spread by a virus. Despite the poor match of the vaccine to the most common strain of flu, the CDC is still urging people who haven't gotten a flu shot to get one, because the vaccine is more effective against other types of flu.
