However, people familiar with the matter told Bloomberg that security flaws in both routers and fixed access network hardware persisted beyond 2012, adding that those flaws were also identified in hardware embedded in Vodafone's businesses in the UK, Spain, Germany, and Portugal. The Britain's largest auto manufacturer announced on Monday that it was testing a solution based on smart-contracts technology that would pay users in IOTA for data sharing. The technology is being tested out in Shannon, Ireland at the software engineering base for Land Rover. A 5.50pm flight from Copenhagen to Birmingham Airport has also been scrapped. Facebook did not immediately respond to a request for comment on the probe. If a company is found in breach of GDPR rules by a statutory inquiry, the Data Protection Commission has "corrective powers" such as issuing fines or a "temporary or definitive ban on processing or a suspension of worldwide data transfers".
