For the six months to 30 June, adjusted profit before tax fell 7% to £354m but revenue rose 8% to £1.85bn from £1.71bn, and total EBITA was down 7% to £375m. As of 09:42 BST, ITV's share price had added 0.32 percent to 171.00p, outperforming the broader United Kingdom market, with the benchmark FTSE 100 index having fallen into the red and now standing 0.66 percent lower at 7,658.18 points. Stefanie Johnson, associate professor and the leader of the study published the findings in the Proceedings of the Royal Society B on Wednesday. Speaking at the White House after the government reported that the economy grew at an annual rate of 4.1 percent in the second quarter, Trump declared that the gains were sustainable and would only accelerate. Pay was growing even faster in the late 1960s, when the jobless rate remained below 4 percent for almost four years. Growth in consumer spending, which accounts for more than two-thirds of US economic activity, increased at a 4.0 percent rate in the second quarter, accelerating from the first quarter's stall-speed pace of 0.5 percent.
