Veteran singer Julio Iglesias has lost a paternity trial, after a court determined he is the biological father of Javier Sanchez Santos.
"The fact that some photos show Mrs Santos and Julio Iglesias together that summer in a professional context is no proof", Falomir told TV channel A Punt.
Delivering the verdict at a court in Valencia, Judge José Miguel Bort said: "The possibility that sexual relations took place between them is not unlikely nor preposterous".
The judge said there was "evidence in the proceedings that, at the approximate time of the applicant's conception, there were certain contacts and dealings between the mother of the latter and that defendant".
Iglesias, 75, who was not in court, has consistently denied the accusation and his lawyers say he will appeal against the decision.
The singer also has eight other children in total.
Julio's defence team had argued that the trial should not take place since the case had already gone to court before and had been dismissed.
The judge refused to admit the DNA evidence obtained by the detective.
