Apple might launch notch-less iPhone series by 2020

New Rumors Claim Apple to Launch Notchless iPhone in 2020

Kuo says the iPhone's notch will get significantly smaller in 2020 before its 2021 disappearance, but we think that might actually happen this year with iPhone XI.

A separate piece of intelligence from Credit Suisse reveals that Apple's screen suppliers in China are working on "full-screen displays".

According to the source, Apple would add an under-screen front camera and a return to Touch ID, via a full-screen authentication service rather than via a traditional home button.

Samsung, for example, implemented a new hole punch-like design in the displays of its new Galaxy S10 phones, which is less noticeable than the bezels on the Galaxy S9 and notches on rival phones.

Baker mistakes 'Moana' birthday cake request for 'marijuana'
Kensli's post has been shared 11,000 times - with social media users finding the mix-up as amusing as she did. A seemingly-innocent request for a Disney-themed birthday cake has backfired spectacularly.

Citing a Counterpoint Research analyst, the cited source reveals that Apple's exports from India are now running at low speed, with around 100,000 units now shipped to select markets on the Old Continent.

But, many tech analysts claim that Apple's efforts to achieve notchless iPhones might be completed in 2021 and not in 2020.

The notch has been a controversial feature since its launch with the iPhone X in 2017. The company is rumored to ditch Face ID, but only for China to help reduce the price of iPhone. For Apple, however, the notch is not just a design element: it houses the TrueDepth camera system, a complex module that makes a 3D depth map of your face and provides an extremely secure way of unlocking the phone, paying for goods, and quickly signing into services. While many competitors followed suit with notches on their own devices, they soon started finding clever ways to eliminate it altogether. Only the iPhone XS and XS Max have pressure-sensitive screens at the moment, with the iPhone XR already dismissing the feature, presumably in an effort to keep the cost down and to increase the screen-to-body ratio. However, such reports and rumors must be taken with a grain of salt. Earlier this week, Apple released an ad touting Face ID as a much better option than Touch ID.
