Wizards to offer Raptors' Masai Ujiri huge deal

Raptors assistant Jamaal Magloire became a hilarious meme by screaming through a cup

The local sheriff's office in Oakland, Calif., alleges Raptors president Masai Ujiri assaulted a sheriff's deputy moments after Toronto secured its first National Basketball Association title.

Kelly says the deputy pushed back and the executive pushed again and "struck our deputy in the face".

"We were told to strictly enforce the credentialing policy and not allow anyone onto the court without a credential, so our deputies were doing that", office spokesperson Sgt.

According to USA Today's Dan Wolken, citing a department spokesman, the Alameda County Sheriff's Office is "pursuing a misdemeanor charge" against Ujiri for simple battery. "At that point, several bystanders intervened and the executive did ultimately get back onto the court without displaying credentials". But while the account that tweeted the video claimed the officer was the aggressor, in what bore all the hallmarks of a classic case of racial profiling, police, in turn, have accused Ujiri of assaulting the cop. Ray Kelly with the Alameda County Sheriff's Office said in a statement first reported by NBC Bay Area.

Baby dies weeks after cut from his mother’s womb
Then on April 1, Figueroa told her daughter that "she needed help killing a pregnant woman and taking a baby", Murphy said. The baby boy who was ripped out of his mother's womb in April has passed away, his family announced.

Kelly said that rather than arrest Ujiri on worldwide television, the department made a decision to take the "high road" and file a misdemeanour complaint to local prosecutors. The officer tried to stop Ujiri from entering the court, as he did not have the proper credentials.

NBC's Raj Mathai added in a follow-up post: "Raptors exec (believed to be Team President Masai Ujiri) involved in courtside altercation after the game". In 2016 he became team president and is under contract through 2021.

Interestingly, Ujiri is credited for building the Nuggets into a contender as Denver's GM before departing for the Raptors in 2013. It's hard to imagine the Raptors letting him go elsewhere and not giving him a pay raise.
