Torreira adds fuel to Milan rumours: "I liked living in Italy more"

Arsenal’s Lucas Torreira Admits He “Misses Italy” Amid AC Milan Links Posted by Daniel Jenkins

Amid links with Milan, Torreira did nothing to dampen the exit reports reports but instead increased speculation by admitting that his life was "better in Italy" and that the English language barrier has been a big problem this season.

Torreira joined the Gunners from Sampdoria in the summer of 2018 and impressed during his debut campaign in the Premier League, making 50 appearances across all competitions.

The Uruguay worldwide told Ovacion: "I moved from the Italian championship to a totally different style of football and life". The language stopped me. It's pretty rough in certain moments when you can't have any dialogue, that's the most important part.

"And so is the climate". You go out in the morning and it is cloudy, you arrive at your house in the afternoon and it is cloudy.

"It is odd a little bit, the sun, the more of us that we are here and we are accustomed to having always or nearly always the sun".

A blog called Android Updated has published the alleged renders of the Vivo X15 and the smartphone seems to be a budget device. An online report claims the phone will sport a wide-notch, something that has become rare in Android smartphones these days.

However, Torreira told Uruguayan outlet Ovacion that the climate and language have been hard obstacles to overcome amid rumours that AC Milan could offer him a chance to return to Italy and reunite with former boss Marco Giampaolo.

Arsenal start the 2019-20 league season away at Newcastle United on August 11 and face Burnley at home before taking on last season's runners-up Liverpool and arch-rivals Tottenham in late August.

"The weather is also hard".

It is one thing to sell a player for £100 Million and bring in three quality players but it is a whole different matter selling one proven Premier League player and then having to use all the cash raised to replace him without no guarantees.

"All in all, for me the balance was positive and I am satisfied, satisfied with what I did this season". I think I had a better time in Italy.
