Ariana Grande was performing in Atlanta for her Sweetener World Tour when a man had the audacity to stand outside the venue with a microphone in hand, belting homophobic comments.

While she described herself as "saddened" by the display, she admitted she was "not surprised". She points out to the protester that June is Pride Month, to which the man replies "God wants you to repent". She apologized to her fans for having to encounter it and promised that her team will "do our best to ensure this doesn't happen again".
