Lawsuit blames Tiger Woods for drunken driver's loss of life

Tiger Woods his girlfriend and restaurant responsible for man’s death lawsuit claims

Nicholas Immesberger's family claims the 24-year-old bartender was allowed to stay at the restaurant after his shift and drink "to the point of severe intoxication" before he set out in a vehicle and ended up in a one-person, fatal rollover.

The wrongful loss of life lawsuit filed Monday says Nicholas F. Immesberger used to be served wrong quantities of alcohol sooner than the December 10 automobile crash.

The family of a Florida man is bringing a wrongful death suit against Tiger Woods, the restaurant he owns, and the general manager of that restaurant.

Staff at the restaurant were also aware that Immesberger had been attending Alcohol Anonymous meetings but still continued to serve him alcohol while he was working, as well as after his shifts while he sat at the bar, the lawsuit claims.

"It's very sad", Woods mentioned on the PGA Championship in NY on Tuesday.

'We feel bad for him and his entire family.

The New Jersey native's alcohol level was.256, more than triple the legal limit.

TMZ reports the parents believe Woods and Herman are at fault, saying the pair knew Immesberger had a drinking problem, but let him get served alcohol anyway.

'Shame on you'-- Rihanna slams Alabama governor for banning abortion
The new law has been described as the nation's most restrictive abortion legislation under the Alabama Human Life Protection Act . The typical provision in other states is to allow abortions until 24 weeks or often later.

Immesberger was a bartender at The Woods and knew the golf star personally, according to the report.

Woods and Herman returned home from a trip to Australia the night of December 7.

Woods was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom this month, and is due to play in the US PGA Championship later this week.

Woods, under state alcohol laws, potentially could be held liable as an owner of the establishment even if he wasn't physically at the venue if a foreseeable risk of injury or death occurs due to over-serving somebody with a known history of alcohol abuse issues.

Immesberger was said to be traveling "at a high rate of speed" on Federal Highway when he lost control of his 1999 Corvette and swerved across three lanes before going airborne and overturning in Port Salerno, the Florida Highway Patrol said, according to the Palm Beach Post.

The suit is seeking an unspecified amount of damages.

Police say that Immesberger, who was not wearing a seatbelt, died at the scene of the accident.

Woods is playing in the PGA Championship this week at Bethpage Black in Farmingdale, New York, and was at the course early Monday to practice.
