Skull & Bones Delayed Again, but Ubisoft Promises More Unannounced Titles

Ubisoft delays Skull & Bones again and won't show it at E3 2019

The company said in its full-year 2018-19 earnings statement that the game, which was delayed last year into the 2019-20 fiscal year, has now been pushed to sometime after that.

For a game that looked an bad lot like a rehash of the good bits from Assassin's Creed Black Flag, Skull & Bones is taking a very long time to arrive in stores and has been delayed yet again.

The company has delayed its open-world high-seas game Skull and Bones.

He was released from rehab over the weekend but will need to wait until his leg is fully healed to be fitted for a prosthetic. Kaser, a grain farmer for over 40 years, said he just didn't think of the hopper opening.

On the bright side, Ubisoft won't have any absence of games to show at E3 this year.

It's entirely likely, of course, that Skull and Bones could end up releasing after that date, although Ubisoft hasn't yet provided an explanation as to why the game has been delayed for a second time. This means the game will not be released until at least April 1st, 2020.

Having been announced back in June 2017 during E3, Skull and Bones has been on a long journey towards release. Beyond Good & Evil 2 is already announced, so what could the other three games be? The remaining three are unannounced titles that will be released in Q4 FY2020, which is between January 1st and March 31st, 2020. We know that there won't be a new Assassin's Creed title amongst them, but will one of them be the elusive and often-rumoured Splinter Cell? Ubisoft hasn't really promoted it much since its reveal a couple years ago.
