Just don't classify it as an MMO, Hello Games said, as it won't require a subscription and won't feature microtransactions. However, Hello Games re-released the game last summer alongside a new expansion called No Man's Sky Next which drastically changed the game.

Writing in a post on the Sony Blog, Hello Games' founder Sean Murray reveals that No Man's Sky BEYOND will be made up of three major updates.

No Man's Sky Online includes a radical new social and multiplayer experience which empowers players everywhere in the universe to meet and play together. This major update introduced game changing features, such as an all-new multiplayer mode, unlimited base building, commanding freighters and much more!

There is a recall for Tom Heaton, whose impressive form for Burnley sees him joining fellow goalkeepers Jordan Pickford and Jack Butland.

Hello Games has released a number of large updates since the game's rocky launch in 2016.

However, like the early access game No Man's Sky really was the whole time (albeit sold at a full price) the game has only gotten better and better following its first release, its community richer and richer. Falling short of expectations at launch, in part thanks to marketing, but also because it was kinda boring, developer Hello Games has since transformed it into an engaging, busy space sim that finally lives up to its grand ambitions. Not entirely ideal, NEXT doubled down on what made No Man's Sky great and managed to clean up several other niggling issues within the game at the same time. We'll continue to support No Man's Sky in this way for the foreseeable future. Today, the next update for No Man's Sky was revealed, and it sounds like it's going to be another big one.
