Mike Thalassitis has been found dead aged 26.

Shocked fans took to Twitter to express their sadness at the news.

According to the Daily Mail Online, tributes began pouring in for the ITV star after he was reportedly found dead in a forest near his Essex home.

Former Love Island star Tyla Rosie Carr also spoke out about the news.

Steven Watt, who was Mike's manager when he played for Margate, tweeted "Absolutely gutted, RIP mate". Please stop brandishing that. All my love goes out to your friends and family. "A good guy, taken far, far to soon".
