James Gunn Reportedly Rehired As Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3 Director

James Gunn Thanks Fans Disney After He's Reinstated as 'Guardians of the Galaxy 3' Director

According to Deadline, Walt Disney Studios president Alan Horn was persuaded to rehire him following his handling of the situation and also his public apology.

Disney CEO Bob Iger got to look decisive and confident; Marvel Studios still kept one of its most successful franchises intact; and James Gunn got a nice vacation form social media bullies, while doubling his power in the industry with both Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 3, and DC's The Suicide Squad. The agreement that was reached was that Gunn will complete production on that film before he begins anything on the third Guardians film.

The shock move comes after Disney fired Gunn in July past year after offensive tweets he wrote between 2008-2012 joking about rape, child abuse, and pedophilia resurfaced in the #MeToo movement.

Last July, Disney fired Gunn after decade-old tweets resurfaced in which he joked about topics including pedophilia and rape.

Wide receiver Maurice Harris reportedly signed by New England
The 28-year-old Ellington spent time with Houston and Detroit in 2018, totaling 31 receptions for 224 yards and a touchdown. His best season came in Houston in 2017 when he caught 29 passes for 330 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Tottenham Hotspur to make loan bid for Real Madrid forward Gareth Bale?
Zidane also won a Liga title in 2017 among nine trophies before standing down having taken the club to the European summit.

The Daily Caller unearthed the controversial tweets from the filmmaker.

Disney doesn't appear to have shared anything by way of a full, public explanation for the surprise reversal at the time of this writing, but it's safe to say the cast members who rushed to Gunn's defense - some of whom even threatened to not take part in the next movie at all - may have played a part. Gunn will now reportedly film "Guardians" after he finishes the sequel film. Representatives for the Walt Disney Co. and for Gunn on Friday confirmed that Gunn has been reinstated as writer-director of the franchise he has guided from the start. "And don't believe I won't rub it into a few people's faces, because he deserves it. Love you to you all". "At the end of the day, he was making jokes and he was being provocative and he was looking for that shock value, but they were just jokes".

According to the reps involved in the process, the decision to reinstate Gunn in his rightful chair came down to a heartfelt apology that was issued directly in person.
