'The Disappearance of Madeleine McCann' documentary series will be on Netflix tomorrow

Netflix has JUST dropped the trailer for its Madeleine McCann documentary

They include Anthony Summers and Robbyn Swan, the investigative journalists who co-wrote 2015's "Looking for Madeleine"; Gonçalo Amaral, the investigating coordinator with the Policia Judiciaria in Portugal; Robert Murat, who was once considered a suspect in the case; Jim Gamble, former head of the Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre in the United Kingdom; and Phil Hall, the McCanns' former PR rep, Phil Hall.

Netflix has released the first trailer for The Disappearance of Madeleine McCann, set to premiere on Friday.

"The Disappearance of Madeleine McCann" features 40 experts and key figures in the case, some of whom argue the three-year-old was abducted by a people-trafficking gang and taken to another foreign country.

One expert claims that she might still be alive due to her "value" as a white middle class girl.

"There's huge hope to be had with the advances in technology".

She had been left with her younger siblings while her parents, Kate and Gerry McCann, were out for dinner in a tapas restaurant. Year on year DNA is getting better.

The new film, The Disappearance of Madeleine McCann, has been slammed by Gerry, 50, and Kate McCann, 51, who believe it could hinder ongoing efforts to locate their missing child - who would be turning 16 this year.

In the trailer, snippets of quotes detail the case as "the worst things a human being could see" and "statistically likely to be [committed by] someone with close proximity to the child" while one person notes that "one shocking element was the sheer number of sexual predators in the area at the time".

Despite numerous offers from the filmmakers, Kate and Gerry declined to take part in the documentary, with their former spokesperson insisting: "We want nothing to do with it".

"Somebody knows what has happened to Madeleine McCann", they say.

"Consequently, our views and preferences are not reflected in the programme".
