Anthony Joshua to make £19.3m against Jarrell Miller in United States debut

Anthony Joshua close to confirming fight in USA against Jarrell Miller

The Ring Magazine's Mike Coppinger was first to report the story.

The fight, which will stream on DAZN in the United States, is not yet finalized. 'AJ wants to know what he's doing, and hopefully by end of this week, the weekend, we could be in a position to announce his next fight'.

Joshua, who has competed in the United Kingdom in all of his 22 professional fights, is likely to head stateside to take on Miller.

Joshua, the 2012 Olympic super heavyweight gold medalist, is a man who needs no introduction.

Joshua will make his seventh title defense against New York's Miller (23-0-1, 20 KO's).

However, it has been reported that the 33-year-old American and the 30-year-old Brit have reached an agreement for the rematch. Joshua is also coming off a knockout win himself, though, a much more significant one.

Jackson said this sort of thinking "seems like a deliberate decision to take on some 'technical debt , '" as he put it. He would invariably end up using a 1999 implementation of web standards by default.

Russian powerhouse Alexander Povetkin - vanquished by Joshua in September of previous year - looks the likely favourite, whilst American Dominic Breazeale - also defeated by Joshua in June of 2016 - has also been linked. Whyte even told the media last month that the offer he had received was "ridiculous".

Several names had been touted to take on Joshua, with fans hoping for a match against Whyte, Deontay Wilder or Tyson Fury.

Anthony Joshua's US debut against Jarrell Miller is a "strong possibility" and a NY fight in June could be announced next week, says promoter Eddie Hearn.

"I really believe it will be a major moment for Joshua's career", Hearn told BBC Sport. They fought to a controversial draw in a scintillating affair last December, and the sequel is likely to take place in April or May at Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

Alexander Povetkin has "always" been interested in Dillian Whyte after being named on a shortlist for the British heavyweight's next fight.

Appearing in an Instagram live video with long-term friend "David KD" however, Joshua certainly appeared to have little time for those who doubted him.
