Rape coma baby: Hacienda Healthcare staff must hand DNA to police

Woman in vegetative state for decade reportedly gives birth

Hacienda officials have called the situation "a deeply disturbing incident" and said they are cooperating with law enforcement and state agencies.

The incident reportedly occurred at a Phoenix nursing facility, Hacienda HealthCare in the American state of Arizona, according to the RT News.

Phoenix police are investigating the case of a woman who gave birth after years of being in a vegetative state.

Following news of a woman in a vegetative state giving birth, families of patients at Hacienda HealthCare are demanding answers.

Mr Timmons offered his resignation on Monday and it was unanimously accepted by the facility's board of directors.

Hacienda almost lost its Medicare funding in December 2013 after Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) found at least one staff member was abusive to multiple patients while several staff members were deficient in reporting patient allegations of abuse by staff.

The birth has triggered a police investigation and reviews by state agencies.

Gov. Doug Ducey's office has called the situation "deeply troubling".

In a statement, board member Gary Orman said the facility "will accept nothing less than a full accounting of this absolutely horrifying situation". "We were talking about reporting it to CPS (now known as Department of Child Safety) and Bill Timmons slammed his fist on the table and said, 'No!"

Pressed to reconcile his statements and the Rhodium Group data, Sommers said it's "important that we recognize the broader trend". Emissions from residential and commercial buildings, which use oil and gas for heating and cooking, rose 10 percent a year ago .

The Arizona Department of Health Service and the Arizona Department of Economic security have also released statements and both organisations are conducting investigations into the incident and conditions at the facility.

A lot of them involve fire drill and evacuation preparation or Medicaid eligibility. The employee was sacked.

"The family obviously is outraged, traumatized and in shock by the abuse and neglect of their daughter at Hacienda HealthCare", the family's attorney, John Micheaels said.

It would be the police who would lead DNA testing to figure out who fathered the baby, Solomon said, adding that it would be hard for Hacienda to escape liability.

Advocates for the disabled say Arizona needs to find a way to monitor allegations of sexual abuse and sexual violence in these group settings.

"We're not going to point out who we've obtained DNA from or who we intend to get DNA from", he said.

Sources also told ABC 15 in another report that investigators are looking into whether the patient suffered multiple sexual assaults, "including assaults on different parts of the body". "We will continue to work to ensure the safety of all our members".

"From what I know the baby is alive, and the baby is healthy", she said.

Karina Cesena told a Phoenix news outlet, "I do not [know if my daughter was victimised], but I do ask her, and she can answer yes or no".
