Netflix's 'The Punisher' Gets Even Darker in Season 2 Trailer

Marvel's The Punisher Season 2 Trailer Double Trouble

"I dream about the Punisher every night", says one of those villains, the returning Billy Russo AKA Jigsaw in the comics and portrayed by Ben Barnes in the new look at the new season.

Frank Castle, when last Marvel fans saw him, had seemed like he was on the path towards a happier life. A brand new trailer for the second season of The Punisher promises even more violence than the show's first outing, assuming that's possible.

The facility responded to the Post, "As a company, we welcome this development in the ongoing police investigation". Hacienda has said it will "do everything in [its] power to bring this police investigation to a quick conclusion".

Season 2 of The Punisher whisks Castle out of retirement, after he tries to save Amy Bendix, a young girl, from being murdered at a bar. Clips of the ruthless fight that went down in said venue are interspersed throughout the conversation as Bendix questions Castle on his true motivations, saying, "It's nearly like you were happy for the excuse", in reference to the character's tendency toward savagery. I've never really been on board with The Punisher (outside of the delightfully bonkers Punisher: War Zone), so I didn't really bother with Season 1. Amber Rose Revah's Dinah Madani and Jason R. Moore's Curtis Hoyle are the only other cast members officially returning from the show's first season. As he is drawn into the mystery surrounding her and those in pursuit of the information she holds, Castle attracts a new target on his back as new and old enemies force him to confront whether he should accept his destiny and embrace a life as "The Punisher".

THE PUNISHER season two hits Netflix January 18.
