TGA 2018: BioWare teases Dragon Age 4 The Dread Wolf Rises

BioWare Finally Officially Announces Dragon Age 4 The Dread Wolf Rises

It was reported earlier this week that Dragon Age 4 (not confirmed title) would finally be appearing tonight at The Game Awards, and that's exactly what happened - although details are still sparse.

What we do get from the teaser is a bit of new imagery, and the hashtag #TheDreadWolfRises, suggesting that Dragon Age: Inquisition's baldie elf and Duncan Goodhew impersonator Solas will be making a comeback, but beyond that, there's not really much more to say. It's just a brief teaser trailer that doesn't even offer us a proper name for the new title.

We still have no idea when this new Dragon Age will release or what platforms it will come to so the only conclusion that can be drawn from this announcement is that we at least now know there is a Dragon Age game in the pipeline.

A new Dragon Age is coming it was announced at the Game Awards with the hash tag The Dread Wolf Rises. I'm sure there are plenty of hints that a lapsed DA player like myself glossed over. It would have been nice to find out more beyond that, but until BioWare shows more, this is your lot for now.

Bioware is hard at work in completing Anthem, releasing for Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC on February 22nd, 2019. "Over the years I've taken on increasing challenges: building vast living worlds, devising fun party-based combat and illustrating fantastic stories".
