Love Island's Jack And Dani Have Split Up

Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham have made a shock announcement that they've broken up - just four months after the pair were crowned the winners of Love Island 2018.

Dyer confirmed the pair's split in a message posted to her Instagram story, in which she said they had realised their relationship was "not meant to be long term".

Dani continued in her statement: 'We both plan to stay friends.

The pair had also been filming a new reality show about their life together.

"Filming the show wasn't easy".

"They came out to a whirlwind of publicity and after a while, things started to get to them and the cracks appeared".

Just yesterday Dani, daughter of Eastenders legend Danny Dyer, announced she'd be releasing her autobiography in April next year, titled What Would Dani Do? - and the split makes us even more eager to read the book!

The aim of the Love Island is to couple up with someone in the villa, then convince the nation you're the strongest couple.

'But Dani and I got through it, ' he added. Dani shared the shocking news on social media Thursday.

It is not yet known if they will still honour the agreement, however, their reality TV show will air as expected.

A source told the publication: 'When they left the villa they really thought they would stay together forever, but reality soon set in and things started to get strained'. Online: "Love Island: The Christmas Reunion was recorded last week and will still broadcast as planned".
