How to Watch The Game Awards 2018: YouTube, Twitter, Twitch and More

More and more, the annual event is used by publishers to tease upcoming games, and more than 10 highly anticipated games are expected to debut at the event, including a new Far Cry, a Dragon Age tease and more about the new Metroid Prime game. It's about striking the right balance between making sure certain demographics of people tune in and having surprises on the night, and I don't think The Game Awards has gone about it correctly this time around.

The Game Awards 2018 are upon us tonight as Geoff Keighley and his team have tons of video game news and reveals ready for us this year. This includes YouTube, Twitch, Twitter, Facebook, Mixer, Steam, Xbox One, PS4, IGN and Gamespot in America. Clicking the above link also allows you to cast a ballot for The Game Awards, and help influence the results. The trailer also confirmed an official worldwide reveal for the title will be shown during The Game Awards 2018. Other confirmed guests include Academy Award-winning actor Christoph Waltz, Weezer lead vocalist Rivers Cuomo and Avengers directors the Russo Brothers. More performers will be announced in the lead up to the show. You can check out all of the games we are certain or expect to see below, or read about the games we know won't be there. But what could we be doing after or before the show?

Keighley is perhaps best known for his work over the years with Entertainment Weekly, Spike TV, G4, and YouTube, as well as his landmark series of behind the scenes game development stories known as "The Final Hours". While we know some of the announcements we can expect, others have only been teased.
