Arsenal to 'remind players of their responsibilities' after 'hippy crack' video emerges

Arsenal players celebrate a goal during their Uefa Europa League Group E match against Vorskla FC at the Olympiyski Stadium in Kiev

It is believed that the likes of Aubameyang, Ozil, Alexandre Lacazette, Sead Kolasinac and Matteo Guendouzi began inhaling balloons containing nitrous oxide, also known as laughing gas, which is also commonly referred to as "hippy crack". The footage was then published by The Sun.

While it is not illegal to possess the drug, it is illegal to give away or sell.

The party appears to have taken place just days before the start of the Premier League season in August.

The Sun quoted a source as saying that the players had been "off their heads on the gas" and that Ozil, 30, a World Cup victor with Germany in 2014, had "looked out of it at one point".

Asian Stock Rebounds Following China-US Trade Truce
Against the dollar, the pound fell to its lowest since October at US$1.2708, down almost 0.7 per cent from the day's highs. Comments by Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell were interpreted by markets as hinting at a slower pace of rate increases.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Shkodran Mustafi have also been identified in the video, but neither were seen inhaling the gas, with Mkhitaryan actively refusing to be given a balloon.

And the north London club has vowed to question the quarter over the incident.

Other players such as Raheem Sterling and Kyle Walker have been seen using the gas in the past, with the City fullback apologising for using the substance back in 2013.

The 27-year-old is averaging a Premier League goal every 161 minutes this season, despite often starting on the substitutes' bench, having reportedly been considering his future upon the Spaniard's arrivals as Arsene Wenger's successor.
