"America's Next Top Model" contestant Jael Strauss has passed away after battling breast cancer.

Our thoughts are with her family and friends.

In October, the TV personality revealed she was diagnosed with the disease and it was moving very "aggressively" throughout her body.

After receiving treatment for her addiction and getting clean, the model said she was "the happiest I've ever been in my entire life".

"I need another one of those miracles that I got back in 2013", she said, referring to her second chance after bouncing back from drug addiction.

Jael appeared on Cycle 8 of "ANTM" in 2007, but made headlines again in 2012 when Dr. Phil staged an intervention for her.

She celebrated five years sobriety in August of this year.

Jael died in hospice at about 11AM on Tuesday after a brief battle with breast cancer, TMZ reported.

She was unconscious for a few days and had reportedly quit chemotherapy not long after being diagnosed in October.

"Condolences to her friends and family". Because of this gift, I have no friends, only family. "Thank you so much for all the love, support, & prayers through the journey".
