Nicole Kidman left Scientology in the '90s before her marriage to Tom Cruise ended, but she sounds just fine with their children being members of the church.

When Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman split up in 2001, the couple's adopted daughter Isabella and son Connor seemed to lose contact with their mother while remaining close to their high ranking Scientologist dad. "I know 150 per cent that I would give up my life for my children because it's what my objective is", the actress said in comments Australia'sWHO magazine published on Thursday.

'I am an example of that tolerance, and that's what I believe-that no matter what your child does, the child has love and has to know that there's available love and I am open here.

Meanwhile, Nicole recently revealed that being married to Hollywood icon Tom - whom she Wednesday in 1990 and divorced in 2001 - gave her a level of protection against sexual harassment during the early stages of her career.

Meanwhile, Bella has previously said it's absurd that people think there's a rift between herself and her mother, telling New Idea in 2016, "Of course [we talk], they're my parents", before adding that anyone who thought otherwise was "full of s--".

Despite being in the spotlight the majority of her adult life, Nicole Kidman has managed to keep several of her personal matters private- especially when it comes to her children. "I have to protect all those relationships" she explained.

However, Nicole has made a steadfast attempt to put the rumours to bed, after claiming she will always love Isabella and Connor, now 25 and 23 respectively, unconditionally. "This movie is a love letter to my children".

Given that the church has labeled Kidman an "SP", many speculate her children have been encouraged to cut the actress out of their lives.

The actress who plays the mom of a kid sent to gay conversion therapy in Boy Erased also discussed tolerance during the interview.

Kidman and Cruise introducing Connor and Bella to Australia in 1996.

"Being married to Tom Cruise at 22 is something I'm always reluctant to talk about, because I'm married now to the man who is my great love [Keith Urban], and it nearly feels disrespectful", she explained.

"It's very exciting", Kidman said.

'I married for love, but being married to an extremely powerful man kept me from being sexually harassed.

"I'm very private about all that".
