Rihanna Warns Donald Trump Not To Use Her Music

Guns n Roses slams Trump for using its music

Rose isn't the first singer to protest against Trump, since on November 04, "Umbrella" singer Rihanna raised her voice against Trump for using her song "Please don't stop the music" in one of his rallies.

On Sunday, Rihanna learned that Trump had been using her music at rallies when Washington Postreporter Philip Rucker tweeted, "It's been said a million times, but here's a million and one - Trump's rallies are unlike anything else in politics".

"As you are or should be aware, Ms. Fenty has not provided her consent to Mr. Trump to use her music. Such use is therefore improper", stated the letter from the Bad Girl singer's legal team to White House counsel, according to Rolling Stone magazine. Currently, Rihanna's "Don't Stop the Music" is blaring in Chattanooga as aides toss free Trump T-shirts into the crowd, like a ball game.

Pharrell Williams' lawyer sent a cease-and-desist letter to Trump last month after "Happy" was played at a rally in IL just hours after a gunman killed 11 people at a Pittsburgh synagogue.

RiRi's attorney, Jordan M. Siev, argued that Trump's unauthorized use of her music "has created the false impression" that she supports and endorses him and that she provided her consent for him to use her work.

On Sunday, Rihanna's megahit Don't Stop the Music was played at a Trump event in Chattanooga, TN.

Rihanna called Trump's rallies "tragic" and said he would not be using her music "for much longer".

The singer joins a long list of big-name entertainers who would prefer that Trump stop blasting their hits at his rallies. Guns N' Roses, along with the Rolling Stones, Pharrell Williams and other artists, have formally requested that their music not be used at Trump's rallies - including sending cease-and-desist letters - to little avail.

Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler filed a cease-and-desist letter after the president played his song Livin' On The Edge at a rally.

Ahead of Tuesday's midterm elections in the US, Rihanna has endorsed Andrew Gillum, the Democratic candidate for the governor of Florida.
