On Thursday night, she also discussed her treatment with Kimmel and how health care should be for everyone.

But it's more than just inspiring to see Julia Louis-Dreyfus manage to work with such passion and still manage her cancer treatments.

Still, the actor was determined to stay with the show, as long as it took. Her illness might be the reason that HBO presented limited episodes. Previously, season 1 had 8 episodes while from season 2 to 6, each one contains 10. Even her legendary role as Elaine Benes - and all of the catch phrases, bad dates, hairstyles, and awkward dance moves that came long with it - wasn't her first big role.

Her show went on hiatus while she had surgery and three rounds of chemo.

Going on to talk further about filming the last series of the hit show, Louis-Dreyfus continued: "I am [feeling melancholy], it's bittersweet, I adore these people and I adore the show and what we've been able to achieve with it".
