Michael Buble quits social media and talks 'retiring' from music

Michael Bublé announces 'retirement' after revealing horror of son Noah’s cancer battle: 'I don't have the stomach for it anymore'

"I'm retiring. I've made the flawless record and now I can leave at the very top".

The crooner admitted he no longer "has the stomach" for fame and has "changed his perception on life" following his son's cancer diagnosis aged 3. They came over, we partied, and we said, 'Let's play some music.' I thought, 'Wow! "You just want to die".

The Mail Online claims that the singer, who recently played Croke Park in Dublin, gave his "last interview" to the Daily Mail's Weekend magazine. "I don't even know how I was breathing", Michael also shared. I decided I'd never use social media again, and I never have'.

The singer and his wife, Luisana Lopilato, have spent the last few years looking after their young son, Noah, as he battled liver cancer. "The diagnosis made me realise how stupid I'd been to worry about these unimportant things".

"There are three reasons I wanted to do this album: One, because I felt a debt of gratitude, deeper than I can explain, to the millions of people all over the world who prayed for us and showed us compassion. I was embarrassed by my ego, that it had allowed this insecurity".

Michael also says he's done with social media forever, saying the 2016 cancer diagnosis of son Noah has put everything into rack focus and that he realized the absurdity of "celebrity narcissism".

'I decided I'll never read my name again in print, never read a review, and I never have.

"It was then that I realised I'd missed making music". "I'd much rather it'd have been me".

"More times than people could understand, some days we wished we didn't wake up". "It sucked and it still sucks, because what we went through was THE worst possible thing that you could hear as a parent and maybe as a human being", he told The Sun in an interview published on October 4.

Michael had similar heartbreaking words just last week.

Michael and Luisana have two other children - 11-week-old Vida and Elias, two.
