Mohammed Dewji, Africa’s youngest billionaire, kidnapped in broad daylight in Tanzania

Tanzanian billionaire Mohammed Dewji has been rescued from kidnappers in early Thursday morning incident which spread like a bush-fire on social media platforms.

Makonda said police have tightened security at all border points and airports to ensure that the two white men who were seen on surveillance video were not sneaking out of the East African nation.

The police boss said the suspects fired in the air as they drove away with Mr Dewji.

He was abducted by two foreigners, the Swahili Times reported on Twitter, citing Mambosasa.
