Sony will finally let you change your PSN Online ID

PlayStation announce when you'll be able to change your PSN ID

You will not be able to adjust this after completing the online ID change.

PlayStation have officially confirmed that the ability to change your PSN username is coming, after years of demand.

Sony has announced that it will soon start testing the "long-awaited feature" that will allow users to change their PlayStation Network Online ID on their PlayStation 4. It will begin as part of the PlayStation Preview Program for those who have signed up for the betas for previous PS4 software updates.

China central bank moves to pump extra US$110bn into economy
In June, the gap was more than 70 bps, and traders say any further narrowing could increase capital outflows from China . A prolonged trade war as the USA economy appears strong may lead to more investors pulling money out of China .

The first change will be free. The gist is that the first hit is free, and after that you'll have to pay the nominal fee of $9.99 that Microsoft also charges. The pricing for Europe will be €9.99/£7.99 for regular PSN members, and €4.99/£3.99 for PlayStation Plus subscribers. This can not be changed after setting it, so your old ID be forever stained onto your profile if choose to do so.

You'll have the option to show your previous ID alongside your current one in case your friends need to find you, although you'll want to be careful.

Unfortunately, not all applications and games for PS4, PS3, and PS Vita are guaranteed to be compatible, and "users may occasionally encounter issues or errors in certain games" after changing their name. Sony says the feature is "only compatible with PS4 games originally published after April 2018". The preview is set to end around November 2018, while full implementation is set for 2019.
