The Duchess of Sussex was looking back over the dress worn for her "magical day" in a new ITV documentary.

In the hotly anticipated documentary about the royal family Queen of the World- in which Meghan makes an appearance - the Duchess of Sussex spills an important detail about her now iconic Givency wedding dress that no one knew about before. "Somewhere in here, there is a piece of. did you see it?"

The former Suits actress - who was known as Meghan Markle before she Wednesday the prince in May - had a square of fabric stitched into the stunning 16ft accessory as her "something blue" for good luck on her big day. Meghan reveals that a tiny fragment of blue material was sewn on to her outfit.

After Markle entered the room, she remarked on how "amazing" her Clare Waight Keller for Givenchy gown was, later adding, "The work that they did here is just so lovely".

Meghan reveals that she only saw the veil, which is embroidered with flowers from all 53 Commonwealth countries, for the first time on the morning of the wedding. That famous veil was trimmed with representations of the flowers of all the Commonwealth countries, with the organisation a major focus of Harry and Meghan's future work together.

"Ms. Markle expressed the wish of having all 53 countries of the Commonwealth with her on her journey through the ceremony", Kensington Palace said in a May 19 tweet.

She says: "We had two or three meetings talking about sketches and different ideas of how this could really come to life".

Queen Elizabeth lent Meghan the Queen Mary's diamond bandeau tiara which held the veil in place.

The clip was made public on Sunday to preview the documentary that deals with the Queen's role as head of the Commonwealth.

Queen of the World will premiere on September 25 at 9:15 p.m. on ITV in the U.K. and on October 1 at 9 p.m. on HBO in the United States.
