Yasminah is reportedly suing Daft Punk and The Weeknd for $5 million. The claims are being made by an artist named Yasminah as she writes that her song "Hooyo" contains the skeletal foundation of Weeknd's hit. "Starboy" was released in November 2016. She claims her song "Hooyo", which she co-wrote and released in 2009, shares numerous same elements as "Starboy".The lawsuit claims that both tracks have the same hook and same key, as well as a similar tempo and notable claps on beats two and four.
