Steelers Remove Le'Veon Bell From Depth Chart

Pittsburgh Steelers front office needs a reality check

The Le'Veon Bell saga continues to drag on in Pittsburgh as the running back with almost 1,300 yards rushing and 11 total touchdowns in 2017 refused to show up to team headquarters ahead of the squad's week 2 home contest versus Kansas City.

Last season, Bell recorded career-high figures in rushing touchdowns and rushing attempts with nine and 321 respectively.

However, it certainly didn't affect how the team performed on the ground in Week 1 against the Cleveland Browns.

Bell's no-show likely means James Conner will once again start at running back for the Steelers. In fact, they actually perform better.

The Steelers did not offer an explanation as to why Bell was left off the depth chart, but it is a significant development nevertheless as the running back had topped the list since Pittsburgh first released their depth chart for 2018. He also had 170 yards in 30 carries during an AFC Divisional playoff game in 2017. Conner also had five catches for 57 yards.

Apple touts its largest screens, cheaper models in iPhone revamp
There are some new tools to monitor how much time you spend looking at your phone and some tweaks to how notifications display. As expected , the iPhone XS is no cheaper than last year's iPhone X , but thankfully no more expensive either.

There doesn't seem to be much progress being made between Bell and the Steelers as this unfortunate situation continues to unfold.

Ahead of Pittsburgh's home-opener against the Kansas City Chiefs this Sunday, the team has removed Bell from their depth chart which makes sense considering he's not a member of the Steelers at this time, and won't be until he puts pen to paper on that contract.

Many expect him to sit out until the Tuesday following Week 10, which is the deadline for him to play for the remainder of the season. He has yet to sign his franchise tender as he looks to reduce his workload heading into free agency.

With all the turmoil surrounding the Steelers running back, here are odds from BetOnline.ag on the team Bell will play for during week 1 of the 2019 season.
