George Conway Throws Shade All Over Kellyanne's Puff Piece

George Conway has developed a reputation for sharing and penning critical tweets of Donald Trump, even though his wife is one of the president's most high-profile advisers.

The comments from Conway, White House counselor to Trump, came Friday during Fox News' "Fox & Friends."

Conway told CNN's Dana Bash on "State of the Union", "We're now going to talk about other people's spouses and significant others just because they either work at the White House or CNN?" So if she is willing to trash her husband or lay out all the dirt about him and her marriage but wants to be listed as an anonymous source, don't you think it's a little likely that she would do the same thing to her boss that she allegedly loves just like she allegedly loves her husband because I sure as hell do.

"What he has done for our great men and women in uniform. over $700 billion in funding the first major pay raise they have had in many years".

Kellyanne Conway, meanwhile, has been Trump's biggest defender and began her White House tenure by coining the term "alternative facts" in an attempt to defend the president's false claim that his inauguration was witnessed by the largest crowd in history.

CNBC had reported the parade had been projected to cost $92 million.

Earlier Monday, Kellyanne Conway did not directly answer whether she had spoken to the president about the tape, but seemed to imply she did saying, "It was my job to tell the president every rumor, innuendo, fact, fiction".

At one point, after describing her husband's anti-Trump tweets as "impolite" and "disrespectful", Conway tried to suggest the whole conversation was off the record. "I've never actually said what I think about it and I won't say what I think about it, which tells you what I think about it", she said - whatever that means.

"You gotta see this picture", George, 54, says. "Which is ridiculous. One is my work and one is my marriage". During a conversation with WaPo, Kellyanne described her husband's Twitter behavior as a "violation of basic decency, if not marital vows".

George introduced Kellyanne to Trump shortly after the Conways married in 2001. "This is much different". Kellyanne said she viewed George's critical views on her boss with disdain, and also appeared to downplay his importance in political spheres.

"Nobody knows who I am because of my husband", Conway told Terris later in the profile.

For now, Trump has not publicly weighed in on George's criticisms.
