Suspect crashes into police cruiser after Cheltenham Township Walmart shooting

A shooting at a Walmart in Pennsylvania reportedly left at least one person wounded Tuesday evening

- Police say a man crashed into a police SUV fleeing the scene of a triple shooting at the Walmart on 1000 S. Easton Rd in Cheltenham Township. According to city police, the suspects fled in a light-colored Pontiac Grand Prix, tossed a gun out of the auto and later crashed into an officer's vehicle. He even tried to kick out the window of the police vehicle, forcing officers to subdue him with a stun gun, the Philadelphia Inquirer added.

Two officers involved in the crash were also injured.

It was not immediately clear why the suspect may have opened fire in the Walmart. A gun was recovered on the 8200 block of Cheltenham Ave.
