Redskins, Jets brawl at first joint practice

The NFL's regular season does not begin for almost a month, but that fact has not prevented competition during training camp.

Playful words and stiff competition between Washington Redskins and New York Jets players quickly escalated into multiple skirmishes, including a large brawl that spilled out in front of fans in attendance for the first of three joint practice days.

It all began when the Redskins appeared to take exception to a late hit on tackle Morgan Moses, which resulted in him leaving practice with a limp.
