Lance Armstrong shares bloody selfie after bike crash

Lance Armstrong was injured after falling from his bicycle in Colorado

Disgraced US cyclist Lance Armstrong, who was embroiled in one of the biggest doping scandals in sporting history, has been hospitalized after wrecking his bike during the Tom Blake cycling trail in Colorado.

Mountain biking is so damn fun. It's not clear what caused the 7-time Tour de France champion to wipe out.

Lance Armstrong took a nasty tumble, proving that Mother Nature is as tough as ever.

Henrik Zetterberg’s health ‘a bit of an unknown — Red Wings GM
And for a number of reasons, it's an interesting contract for Larkin and the Red Wings because it isn't cookie cutter. His salary falls to $3.5 million in 2018-19 and to $1 million each of the two seasons after that.

Armstrong - who was banned from competition in 2013 after admitting to using performance-enhancing drugs - sported cuts on his nose and blood smudges on his mouth and cheek. He denied doping for more than a decade, but later came clean to Oprah.

Poor Lance! "Well, sometimes you're the hammer and sometimes you're the nail", Lance said in a photo of his bloodied face on his Instagram. "Took quite the blow to the noggin' so swung by the Aspen Valley Hospital (great facility!) to get my head checked", he also said in his message".

In his post he also thanked the medical staff who treated him and added that he made a decision to get checked out at hospital as at 46 years old, he is more cautious about his health than he was in youth. Not now. Small world story - a few weeks back I posted a pic of @ghincapie, @mikekloser, and myself. Credit photo to "some dude at top of buttermilk [Trail in Aspen, Colorado]".
