Johnny Manziel traded to Montreal

Johnny Manziel of Hamilton Tiger-Cats traded to Montreal Alouettes

Manziel, along with OT Tony Washington and OL Landon Rice are on their way to Montreal in exchange for DE Jamaal Westerman, WR Chris Williams, and a first round pick in 2020 and 2021.

"With his great mobility, his athletic abilities and his instinct we believe that hewill have a positive impact on our offense".

The trade will reunite Manziel with Alouettes head coach Mike Sherman, who recruited Manziel to Texas A&M in 2011 when Sherman was the head coach of the Aggies.

Manziel had watched the Tiger-Cats go 2-3 without seeing the field, buried behind starter Jeremiah Masoli.

Sean Spicer Breaks With Trump: It's Not A Witch Hunt
In it he talks about his childhood and the life that led him to the Trump White House as well as his experience as the president's Press Secretary.

The 2012 Heisman Trophy victor at Texas A&M was 21-of-32 for 168 yards and a touchdown in two CFL exhibition games with Hamilton. Sherman is a former National Football League head coach (Green Bay Packers, 2000-2005) but a more interesting tidbit is that Sherman and Manziel have crossed paths before. Willy was replaced by backup Matt Shiltz. Montreal was already without quarterback Jeff Mathews for four to six weeks because of a foot injury. The Alouettes are 1-4, having scored just 69 points and given up 148.

Manziel is making a comeback in the CFL after being released by the Cleveland Browns in March 2016. He revealed last spring he was diagnosed as bipolar and was undergoing treatment.
