Weymouth, Massachusetts, police officer Michael Chesna, 42, was killed Sunday when a suspect attacked him and then used the officer's gun to shoot him several times in the head and chest.

Weymouth police officer Michael Chensa, 42, was chasing Emmanuel Lopes after Lopes was involved in a auto wreck around 7:30 a.m. - when Lopes allegedly bashed Chensa with a stone, sending the officer tumbling to the ground.

Another officer who had arrived at the scene shot Lopes in the leg. Lopes then fled and fired shots into a nearby home, killing a woman inside, Morrissey said. He will be arraigned Monday on two counts of murder.
